Wilma A. Cope, 88, Crawfordsville, passed away on Friday at 12:05 a.m. in the Williamsburg Healthcare. She was born April 6, 1926, in Alexandria, Ky., to Frank F.  and Nellie Florence (Bainem) Wagner and attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Alexandria, Va. She married Lee Wilson Cope on Feb. 25, 1941, in Alexandria, Ky..He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 2004.

Mrs. Cope Had worked at R R Donnelleys for 10 years and was a homemaker.  She was a member of the St. Bernard's Catholic Church;  was a member of the VFW Auxilliary;  and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sewing.

She is survived by her children:  Bill Lee Cope and Gladys Marie Berry, both of Crawfordsville.  Also surviving are  grandchildren:  Pam, Mike, David, and Dallas;  great grandchildren,  Christopher, Matt, Andy, Annie, and Mickey;   and one great-great-grandson;  and several step grand and great-grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents;  her brothers:  Frank and Harry Wagner;  her sister:  Louise Anthony;  a granddaughter:  Tracy Crowe;  and a great-grandson:  Tyler Crowe.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10: a.m. Wednesday, Aat St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 1306 E. Main St., with Father Dennis Faker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.  Friends may call at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 4: p.m. until 8 p.m., and at the church on Wednesday from 9: a.m. Until 10 a.m.  Memorials may be made to:  St. Bernard's Catholic Church.   Online condolences may be sent to:  powerspriebefh.com.
