FRANKFORT-Crawfordsville boys' soccer team took the field Saturday to play in the Frankfort Invite but lost twice, falling to Delphi 2-1 and Frankfort in the consolation game 5-0.

The only scorer for the Athenians was sophomore Wilfredo Cifuentes early in the 25th minute off an assist from Westin Evans. In the second game Crawfordsville struggled defensively as they gave up 3 goals in a 9-minute span of the first half.

After the Frankfort Invite the Crawfordsville boys' soccer team falls to 1-3 on the season.

They take the field on Thursday to play Southmont looking to get a leg up on the county title.
