ZIONSVILLE-The North Montgomery volleyball team isn't lacking in tough opponents early in the season. On Monday it was the Zionsville Eagles playing host to the Chargers, and the home team got the win, 25-22m 25-12, 25-21.

The Chargers didn't have their best night offensively. Their leading attacker, Lindzy Sabens, was allotted just four kills on the night. Cortney Kolger added three.

Sabens did get some offense going with three service aces. She also joined Brook Karle in the dig department. Sabens had 14 while Karle led the way with 16.

Megan Warren offered 10 assists.

North Montgomery (1-2) will keep at it with a trip on Thursday to visit Sagamore Athletic Conference rival Danville.
