MARION, Ind. - D.J. Byrd rebounded from an off-night in a big way.
After shooting just 10 percent (1-for-10) from the floor in Monday night's Indiana Junior-Senior All-Star Game, the North Montgomery High School junior returned to form Wednesday night.
But even with his "A game", the Junior All-Stars fell in a blowout.
Byrd scored 18 points but the Indiana Senior All-Stars defeated the Indiana Junior All-Stars 114-83 at Bill Green Arena in Marion.
"I felt more comfortable and more confident with my jumpshot," Byrd said.
The Seniors escaped Monday night with a 93-91 victory in Washington, Ind.
Byrd made 3-of-7 three-point attempts in Wednesday's loss. Marion's Scott Wood led the Juniors with 20 points, while Washington's Tyler Zeller led the Seniors with 28.
Byrd next plans to go to a June NBA Camp in Virginia at the University of Virginia.
