Wabash College senior quarterback Matt Hudson; junior wide receiver Kody LeMond,; senior offensive lineman Evan Isaacs; senior defensive end Matt Whyde; senior safety Addrian Frederick; and junior return specialist/wide receiver Wes Chamblee were named First Team All-North Coast Athletic Conference picks on Monday.
Chamblee also joined senior offensive lineman Jeremy Morris; senior offensive lineman Skip Tokar; senior linebacker Matt Kraft; senior linebacker C.J. Gum; and senior linebacker Bryan Watson as Second Team All-NCAC selections.
Senior tight end Chad Sorenson; senior offensive lineman Craig Morrison and junior safety Jake Martin were named to the Honorable Mention All-NCAC squad.
Hudson was also named the 2009 Mike Gregory Award recipient as the NCAC Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight season.
LeMond became the first Wabash and NCAC player to reach the 1,000-receiving yards mark in back-to-back seasons, recording 65 receptions for 1,059 yards in 11 games this season.
Isaacs, Morris, Tokar, and Morrison started all 11 games on the offensive line for Wabash, helping the Little Giants finish first in the NCAC in passing offense (280.2 yards per game).
Chamblee earned First Team honors as a return specialist and was a Second-Team selection at wide receiver. The junior currently leads the nation in punt return yardage with an average of 17.64 yards per return.
Whyde started 11 games at defensive end for Wabash, finishing sixth on the team in total tackles with 39.
Frederick led the NCAC in interceptions, recording nine picks to set a new Wabash single-season record despite playing in only eight games.
