IHSAA SOUTHMONT GIRLS BASKETBALL SECTIONAL: First-round sectional games postponed
Winter weather pushes girls basketball games back a day, could be moved to Friday

Tuesday's Indiana High School Athletic Association Southmont Girls Basketball Sectional first-round games were postponed because of the winter weather.

Southmont High School Athletics Director Bob Buscher said they will try to play the two games today at the high school.

Southmont takes on Sagamore Athletic Conference rival Danville at 6 p.m., while conference foes Crawfordsville and Lebanon play at 7:30 p.m.

If weather postpones the games Wednesday, they will be played Friday night. Second-round games (Southmont/Danville winner vs. North Montgomery and Crawfordsville/Lebanon winner vs. Western Boone) would move to Saturday night and the championship would be at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
